How to turn off autoplay function in windows vista

For windows, there is a function called ‘autoplay’. For example, when a media or device inserted, there will be a box pop up asking you what to do, either to open in with default program or else.

But sometimes this function can be a little annoying for some user. So, how to turn it off or at least change the setting?

Just need a simple step. (for windows vista of course)

First go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > AutoPlay

Then untick the box ‘Use AutoPlay for all media and devices’ or you can choose which type of media to enable these AutoPlay.

Then do not forget to click Save.

How to automatically upgrade your wordpress version

This is just a simple tutorial about how to automatically upgrade the wordpress version.

1. Log in to admin panel

2. If there any update version, your dashboard should look like this. Click ‘Please update now’.

3. You are advised to back up your database before upgrading and after that, click ‘Upgrade automatically’.

4. Fill in your hostname, username and your password. Click ‘Proceed’.

5. You’re done.

But why you should upgrade to the latest version?

There’re so many reason but mainly because the older wordpress version are vulnerable to attack and your blog easily hacked. Also, the latest version have security and bug fixes.

Another way to upgrade is just go to your dashboard > tool > upgrade.

Ada sebuah cerita. Cerita tentang kanak-kanak dan tapak sulaiman. Kisahnya macam ni,

Di sebuah kawasan pantai, ada seorang kanak-kanak yang sering bermain-main di situ. Sambil dia bermain-main, tiap kali dia ternampak tapak sulaiman yang terdampar di persisiran pantai, dia akan tunduk dan mengambil tapak sulaiman tersebut lalu melemparkannya kembali ke laut. Berulang-ulang kali.

Sehinggalah pada suatu hari ada seorang tua menegur perbuatan kanak-kanak tersebut.

‘Wahai si kecil, Tuk selalu perhatikan tingkah laku kamu saban hari, apakah yang kamu cuba lakukan sebenarnya?’

‘Saya cuma cuba selamatkan tapak sulaiman ini tuk. Saya pungut tapak sulaiman yang terdampar dan kembalikan ia semula ke laut’

‘Tengoklah di sekeliling mu wahai si kecil, terlalu banyak tapak sulaiman yang terdampar di sini. Mana mungkin kamu boleh selamatkan semuanya. Tidak kah kamu rasa ini perbuatan sia-sia?’

Kemudian si kecil tersebut senyum sambil berkata,

‘Tidak tuk. Ini bukan sia-sia. Walaupun saya tak dapat selamatkan semua, tapi sekurang-kurangnya dalam banyak-banyak tapak sulaiman ni, mungkin ada satu atau dua yang dapat saya selamatkan. Dan kalaupun bukan semua, satu pun sudah cukup.’

Tamat.

Cerita ni sebenarnya diceritakan oleh seorang cikgu masa di PLKN dulu. Cikgu tu cakap, pengajaran dari cerita ni ialah walaupun kita tak mampu lakukan semua, tapi kita tak seharusnya terus tinggalkan semua. Kita kena buat setakat yang kita termampu.

Contohnya, kita ingin berubah dari jahat ke yang lebih baik. Mungkin susah untuk terus berubah serta merta. Tapi kita boleh perlahan-lahan berubah. Yang penting berterusan. Tapi yang paling penting, berubah ikhlas hanya kerana Allah.

haha, apesal rasa macam formal sangat kali ni?

*bila sebut pasal PLKN, mesti teringat kat alia. why eh?
